The Texas Hill Country is home to an abundance of incredible wineries, all offering a little something different when it comes to ambiance, terroir and their style of winemaking. So to help you celebrate National Wine Day (and the rest of the month) to the fullest, we’ve gathered up 4 of our favorite vineyards below. Let’s raise a glass to happiness, wine and you. Cheers!
Spanning 56 acres, Becker Vineyards offers hand-crafted and award-winning Bordeaux, Burgundian and Rhone-styled wine. Aspiring to maintain an “Old World” feel, the 10,000 square foot facility replicates a late 19th century German stone barn, which is a prevalent style of the Texas Hill Country. The covered veranda and pavilion provide a wonderful outdoor wine tasting experience with views of the lavender fields, wildflower fields and antique windmill, while the main tasting room offers a welcome respite from the Texas heat and the grassy lawns are ideal for afternoon picnics. Fun fact - their state-of-the-art bottling equipment can process 55 bottles per minute!
